2026年4月19日（日）に恵比寿LIQUIDROOMで開催されたワンマン・ライブを最後に15年余の活動に幕を降ろしたヒップホップ・アイドル・lyrical school。

今も解散を惜しむ声が上がり続ける中、これまで実現しなかった、デビュー時のtengal6時代を含め、T-パレット～キング・レコード～ブートロック～ビクターの各時代と、レーベルの枠を超えて2010年から2026年までの代表曲を計31曲網羅したlyrical schoolのベスト・アルバムがまとめられ、配信限定で6月3日（水）にリリースされた。更にアルバムには未発表曲も2曲（「DAYONE」(読み：デイ・ワン)、「朝の光(ryuya remix)」）が加えられ、計33曲というヴォリュームでのリリースとなった。

なお、「DAYONE」は2024年のアルバム『DAY 2』のオープニング・スキットを楽曲化したもの、「朝の光(ryuya remix)」はクレジット通り、『LIFE GOES ON e.p.』収録曲でシングル（&EP）にもなった「朝の光」をメンバーのryuyaがリミックスを手掛けたもので、双方本邦初公開となる作品。

ジャケットは15年の歴史をヴィジュアルでも伝えるべく、これまでの「lyrical school」のロゴを積み重ねたもので、lyrical schoolのグラフィック・デザインを支えてきたmza氏が手掛けた。
